澳大利亞政府在2020年9月17日，公佈十多年來，第一次澳洲公民入籍考試改革，藉以加強未來澳洲公民對「澳洲價值觀」的關注。署理移民部長圖治（Alan Tudge）宣佈改革細節：「從2020年11月15日起，當局會於澳洲公民入籍試的試卷內加入新問題，以期幫助潛在澳洲公民，進一步解及遵守澳洲價值觀。政府會要求申請公民資格的人士，在對我們的國家作出最後承諾之前，更深入地了解澳洲的價值觀。」雖然試題跟目前一樣有20題，而且同樣答中15題便合格。不過，當局將其中5題的內容改為考核「互相尊重、平等和民主」，而且這5題錯一題即不合格。當局今日在官方網站公佈20條模擬試題（大家可以打開連結試下做，以下是首三題模擬題）。
